FAQ
-
Where are you located?
I have a small home studio in Milton, Florida. I’m located behind Big Lots, on Old Bagdad. To maintain privacy, the exact address will be sent in a confirmation email after booking.
-
Are your classes suitable for beginners, and do I need any prior strength or flexibility to join?
Classes are designed for various levels and include modifications to suit your abilities and goals. No prior strength or flexibility is required! Both will improve naturally as you train. We gradually focus on building strength, mobility, and technique to support your progress. If you’re unsure about which level is right for you, feel free to reach out with any questions.
-
If I am brand new to pole/aerial (or fitness in general), what can I expect in my first class?
Your first class will begin with a general warm-up, followed by introductory movements on your chosen apparatus (pole, silks, or sling). This helps you get comfortable and build confidence right away. After that, we’ll focus on foundational techniques that are customized to your unique needs and goals.
With my small class sizes (just 1-3 students), every session is personalized—because when it comes to fitness, there's no one-size-fits-all approach. So relax, don’t overthink it, and get ready to have fun while learning at your own pace!
-
Is there a weight limit for pole or aerial?
While I would love to accommodate everyone, the equipment I use is rated for a weight limit of 300 pounds.
If you weigh over 300 pounds, I’d be happy to refer you to a local studio that has equipment rated for higher limits.
-
I want to take classes, but you don't offer a time that works for me. What are my options?
I totally understand! Feel free to reach out, and we’ll see if we can find a time that fits your schedule. You can text me at 850-750-2086 to chat about options!

What should I wear to aerial and pole classes?
For aerial, wear fitted clothing that covers the backs of your knees and armpits, such as leggings and a fitted top. This helps protect your skin as you get used to the movements. Crop tops are NOT recommended.
Pole is typically the opposite! Shorts and a sports bra or tank top are recommended to allow skin contact with the pole, which provides grip. However, wear whatever makes you feel comfortable!
Additional Tips:
Avoid lotion on the day of class, as it can make gripping difficult.
Do NOT wear jewelry, as it poses a safety hazard and can damage equipment.
-
What safety measures are in place?
Pole and aerial arts come with inherent risks, but safety is always my top priority. I use a professional-grade circus rig to ensure stability and reliability for aerial practice. For added protection, I provide an 8-inch crash mat for low-to-the-ground tricks and a 36-inch gymnastics mat for higher moves. My pole is securely ceiling-mounted, making it safer than standard tension-mounted poles. Whenever we practice inverted tricks or elevated moves, I also provide a pole safety mat for extra cushioning.

"But I'm too [insert excuse here] to do aerial/pole/yoga!
That’s just fear talking. Everyone starts somewhere, and no one shows up already perfect. Strength, flexibility, confidence—it’s all built by showing up, not waiting to feel ready. Every time you say ‘I can’t,’ you’re just delaying the progress you deserve. So stop letting that voice hold you back. You’ve got everything you need to start—just bring your determination, and I’ll help you with the rest. The only real failure is not trying.
